yeah...... standby it will be vitrolic knowing my daughter. It is ridculous that they can set up and then spout off about higher education. This is just like the "snare and a racket" days of going after religion, education is just another institution the dubs take exception too.

The Gall & Hypocrisy!!
by Simon Morley injust got a call from my daughter that she got word that the jw honeywagon (literature stand) has set up in the university she teaches at.
one (and there are many) of the reasons we left was due to the stance on higher education, she was persecuted by the elders for attending the very university they are now set up in.
my daughter eventually got a masters degree overseas and now teaches at the same unversity, is self sufficent and will not have to eke out some pittance of a living while fighting a very delbilitating health condition.

by DATA-DOG ini have been suffering from fatigue, burning in my stomach, and i have always had canker sore issues as long as i can remember.
whether it's from stress or not, i can't say, but i might be getting an ulcer.
the burning in my stomach and intestinal puffiness is getting to be be chronic.

Teaching is perfect for her, she is gifted and a natural teacher.....
Needless to say she (in particular) is incensed by this and is on her way to confront them on the hypocrisy. These idiots just don't get it and there is no end to their shame!!! I will keep you posted.

palmtree67/Albert Einstein/Mary: I had many of the ones mentioned out West in Alberta. There were only a very few really memorable ones that took an active interest among them the Fungs. Albert was genuinely committed.
Amngst the worse was Krushnyski who was a letcherous bastard that had a fondness for catching a grope when "hugging' sisters. I remember how he hated getting his name mixed up with Mike Krushelnyski, the former Oilers hockey player. We would make a point of pissing him off by calling him that occasionally at elders meetings.
The last one I had before my fade was Clarence Gilmar. This was a piece of work that had the lowest EQ of anyone I have met. He and his BIL elder spent more time eyeing the sisters at conventions than paying attention.

Number of Supercentarians (+110 years) who would "remember" 1914 - approx 350,000, a significant number of which are Asian who dont give a rats ass about 1914. Number of annointed supercentarians? I guess zero - this generation did by all menas pass away so another generation evidently will not pass away in fullfillment of prophecy. What a joke!

District Assemblies and Circuit Assemblies getting farther away from home
by never a jw in20 years ago the da's were in dodger stadium, 10-15 minute drive from home (east part of san fernando valley, los angeles area).
then moved to long beach, 45 minute drive.
now in 2014 they are moving to san diego, 2 1/2 hr drive.

I am free!!! What Shall I do on this Meeting Night?

i am not going to the meeting and sitting on the back row looking repentant no way!.
here are some options... care to add some if you wish, help me to decide.. 1. go to the meeting and sit in the middle, reading "einstein and religion" paperback, go in early and stay after the prayer.

Not to brag but I decided in 2010 when I stopped going to meetings to replace the 4 - 6hrs of meetings/FS per week with volunteer work. I am currently volunteering to help design a new facility for a not-for-profit (non-religious) group. This is very satisfying work and people actually appreciate your efforts. Never had that when I used to do the same for the RBC.
